PROUD SPONSOR OF HOUSEHOLD GOODS RECYCLING OF MASSACHUSETTS

"FREE UP SPACE IT WILL MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD"

FEEL GOOD KNOWING SOME OF YOUR UNWANTED STUFF GOES TO HELP OTHERS

PROUD SPONSOR OF THE MASS COALITION FOR THE HOMELESS

"We support your local library"

When we clean out material from houses, one of our objectives is to recycle as much as possible. There are many items that you no longer need that can be utilized by charitable organizations. These items help the homeless, needy, and people who have had hardships. We have made it our objective to provide a lot of material to 2 main organizations. These organizations can utilize a lot of the "stuff" we take out of your basement, attic, or garage. The old adage "one man's junk is another man's treasure" is so true. Whether it is the old headboard, sheets, coats, or books . Some of your "stuff" will go to help others.

Household Goods Recycling of Massachusetts

Household Goods Recycling of Massachusetts (HGRM) is a non-profit organization that works to provide furniture and household goods to those in need. HGRM was founded in the early 1990's by Ira and Barbara Smith. Their mission is to provide recycled household goods to individuals and families in need at no charge, through the use of volunteers, and in cooperation with religious organizations of all faiths and denominations, human service agencies, and commercial businesses.
Every month, HGRM assists over 300 families in obtaining the household goods they need to improve their quality of life, working with over 300 social service agencies to meet the needs of their clients, distributing approximately 1600 major items of furniture and 700 boxes of goods.
HGRM is also an organization prepared to respond to emergencies like Katrina or other natural disasters. HGRM is focused on aiding those in need by providing these goods for those leaving shelters, trying to rebuild their lives after trauma, homelessness, addiction, and just plain bad luck.

Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless

The Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless (MCH) works to address the broad economic and social issues that lead to homelessness.

Created by an association of grassroots organizations in 1981, MCH is the country's oldest statewide homeless advocacy organization. MCH's policy and organizational work involves the annual participation of over 700 volunteers, over 800 faith communities, 1300 service providers and regional advocacy groups, and hundreds of families and individuals who have experienced homelessness.
